Maintenance of fire protection equipment

In a building or industrial hall, fire protection equipment – from powder extinguishers to wall hydrants to heat and smoke exhaust systems – usually blend in unnoticed with the environment.

Many operators tend to forget about them or view them as just a mandatory, repetitive administrative chore. However, an unexpected power outage or technological failure can rewrite priorities in seconds.

In such cases, the fate of human lives and billion-dollar factories depends on whether the device on the wall still has pressure or whether the fire door really stops the spread of fire.

The current National Fire Protection Regulations strictly and with precise deadlines prescribe the cyclical inspection, review and maintenance of fire protection systems and devices. Incomplete logging or devices with expired review periods will result in immediate official fines, but what is even more serious: after a possible damage event, insurers will immediately refuse to pay compensation if the maintenance was not in accordance with the law.

The expert maintenance technicians at Safety For All Ltd. break with the practice of “just sticking a new label on it.” We perform inspections according to the relevant regulations.
